Former Terrorist: The Arabs Are to Blame for Their Situation

by Aryeh Savir, 4-10-2014

Dr. Tawfik Hamid is a unique and solitary voice in the Islamic world.  A self-described former terrorist, he was a member of the militant al-Gamaa al-Islamiyya with Dr. Ayman Al-Zawahiri who later on became the second in command of Al-Qaeda and now heads it. He stresses he has never actually committed an act of violence.

Dr. Hamid is currently a Senior Fellow and Chair for the Study of Islamic Radicalism at the Potomac Institute for Policy Studies. Dr. Hamid has a medical degree in internal medicine and a master's degree in cognitive psychology and educational techniques. He writes that some twenty-five years ago, he recognized the threat of radical Islam and the need for a reformation based upon peaceful interpretations of classical Islamic texts.

Expressing his opinion on the peace accords between Israel and the Palestinian Authority, Dr. Hamid places the blame for their failure on the Palestinian leadership. He states that the Arabs' suffering must be acknowledged, but the source of their suffering is their own leadership. The PA leaders and Hamas are cynically and immorally using the Arabs' plight for political and religious gain.

"One million Arabs live in Israel with the Jews and they are not suffering like the Arabs who are actually controlled by the Arabs. To be honest you have to say that the Palestinian suffering is because of their leadership, not because of Israel," says Dr. Hamid.

"The solution is in the hands of the Palestinians", he says. "They have to take the decision to stop the suffering of their people." He believes the key to peace is for the Arabs to change their attitude towards Israel. If they truly extend their hand in peace, all will be resolved.

'Israel is a Paradise

for Christians'

www.IsraelToday.co.il  4-10-14

In an interview with Italian media, Israeli Christians from Nazareth once again debunked assertions that Israel is an apartheid state with their own powerful testimonies. The report started off by noting that there is a growing rift in the Israeli Christian community between those who choose to side with the Jewish state and those who choose to identify with the “Palestinian” narrative.

But that the problems facing Christians are not coming primarily from Jewish Israel, but rather from the Muslims, is evident in even a cursory investigation of Nazareth. In Jesus’ hometown, Muslim intimidation has been on the rise, leading many Christians to pack up and head to nearby Christian-only villages or even Jewish-dominated towns, such as Upper Nazareth.

To gain a deeper understanding of the situation, and the standing of Christians in Israel in general, the Italian newspaper spoke to Shadi Khalloul, spokesman for the Israeli Christian Recruitment Forum and an Israel Today contributor. Pointing out what is happening to Christians in Syria, Egypt and elsewhere in the region, Khalloul insisted that by comparison, “Israel is the paradise for Christians from the Middle East.”

The Italians also spoke to a young Israeli Christian who, under the tutelage of Khalloul’s movement, intends to volunteer for Israeli army service. He echoed Khalloul’s remarks, adding that Christians in Israel “live in peace and security; we are not discriminated against and we enjoy our freedom.”

The young man said that even in the Palestinian Authority-controlled territories, such as Bethlehem, “Christians are subject to discrimination, racism and oppression,” and that they were much better off when Israel was in full control of the so-called “West Bank.”

For anyone still trying to get a handle on the position of Christians in the Holy Land, the full report is well worth a read.

Reflecting on the past...

This is all factually (and historically) correct - and verifiable if one would decide to do some research toward that end...... if you even go back further.....in 732 AD the Muslim Army which was moving on Paris was defeated and turned back at Tours, France, by Charles Martell.

...in 1571 AD the Muslim Army/ Navy was defeated by the Italians and Austrians as they tried to cross the Mediterranean to attack southern Europe in the Battle of Lapanto.

... in 1683 AD the Turkish Muslim Army, attacking Eastern Europe, was finally defeated in the Battle of Vienna by German and Polish Christian Armies.

This crap has been going on for 1,400 years and half of these dumb politicians don't even know it!!  If these battles had not been won we might be speaking Arabic and Christianity could be non-existent.

Judaism certainly would be... And let us not forget that Hitler was an admirer of Islam and that the Mufti of Jerusalem was Hitler's guest in Berlin and raised Bosnian Muslim SS Divisions: the 13th and 21st Waffen SS Divisions who killed Jews, Russians, Gypsies, and any other "sub-humans."

A lot of Americans have become so insulated from reality that they imagine that America can suffer defeat without any inconvenience to themselves. Pause a moment, reflect back. These events are actual events from history. Do you remember?

1. In 1968, Bobby Kennedy was shot and killed by a Muslim male.

2. In 1972, at the Munich Olympics, athletes were kidnapped and massacred by Muslim males.
3. In 1972, a Pan Am 747 was hijacked and eventually diverted to Cairo where a fuse was lit on final approach and it was blown up shortly after landing by Muslim males.

4. In 1973, a Pan Am 707 was destroyed in Rome, with 33 people killed, when it was attacked with grenades by Muslim males.

5. In 1979, the US embassy in Iran was taken over by Muslim males.

6. During the 1980's a number of Americans were kidnapped in Lebanon by Muslim males.

7. In 1983, the US Marine barracks in Beirut was blown up by Muslim males.

8. In 1985, the cruise ship Achille Lauro was hijacked and a 70-year-old American passenger was murdered and thrown overboard in his wheelchair by Muslim males.

9. In 1985, TWA flight 847 was hijacked at Athens, and a US Navy diver trying to rescue passengers was murdered by Muslim males.

10. In 1988, Pan Am Flight 103 was bombed  by Muslim males.

11. In 1993, the World Trade Center was bombed the first time by Muslim males.

12. In 1998, the US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania were bombed by Muslim males.

13. On 9/11/01, four airliners were hijacked; two were used as missiles to take down the World Trade Centers and of the remaining two, one crashed into the US Pentagon and the other was diverted and crashed by the passengers. Thousands of people were killed by Muslim males.

14. In 2002, the United States fought a war in Afghanistan against radical Islamic males.

15. In 2002, reporter Daniel Pearl was kidnapped and beheaded by Muslim males.

16. In 2013, Boston Marathon Bombing 4 innocent people including a child  were killed and 264 were injured by Muslim males.

No, I really don't see a pattern here to justify profiling, do you?

So, to ensure we Americans never offend anyone, particularly fanatics intent on killing us, airport security screeners will no longer be allowed to profile certain people. Absolutely No Profiling! They must conduct random searches of 80-year-old women, little kids, airline pilots with proper identification, secret agents who are members of the President's security detail, an 85-year-old Congressmen with metal hips, and Medal of Honor winner and former Governor Joe Foss, but leave Muslim males alone lest they be guilty of profiling.

Have the American people completely lost their Minds, or just their Power of Reason???

Let's send this to as many people as we can so that the Gloria Aldreds and other stupid attorneys along with Federal Justices that want to thwart common sense, feel ashamed of themselves -- if they have any such sense.

RESEARCHERS: CIRCUMCISION COMPARABLE TO VACCINATION:  An Australian-American group of researchers recommended circumcising infant males to avoid diseases in a study that compared the practice to vaccination. The team asserted in their newly published study that half of uncircumcised males will contract an adverse medical condition caused by their foreskin. “As with vaccination, circumcision of newborn boys should be part of public health policies,” the authors wrote in their study, whose main findings were published last week. Ritual circumcision of boys under 18 has recently come under attack in northern Europe, with several political parties and medical associations decrying it as a form of child abuse. (JTA)

ISRAELI SYSTEM GIVES VIRTUAL SIGHT TO THE BLIND:  A new, camera-based product from Israeli start-up OrCam gives the visually impaired the ability to both “read” easily and move around a lot more freely than they have been able to until now. The OrCam device is a small camera that clips onto glasses and connects to a very powerful wearable computer. The device uses a bone-conduction speaker to read aloud the words or objects pointed to by the user. By just pointing a finger, the user can get OrCam to understand what information is needed, whether it's a newspaper article, a bus number or if it's safe to cross the road. Even faces and places are scanned and recognized. Beginning this week OrCam will be sold through the company’s Web site for $2,500, about the cost of a midrange hearing aid. International Condemnation of "Occupation" Is Selective Eugene Kontorovich (Los Angeles Times)

·         A comprehensive study of post-WWII conquest finds that UN condemnation happens in well under half the cases.

·         In 1974, Turkey invaded northern Cyprus, and continues to occupy the northern third of the island under an unrecognized puppet regime. Cyprus is a member of NATO and EU. This has not prevented the development of close relations, and even solicitude, from the EU toward its own occupier.

·         Morocco snatched the massive and resource-rich Western Sahara in 1975 without firing a shot. The Moroccan invasion was met with a UN Security Council condemnation, which Rabat shrugged off. Although no nation has recognized Moroccan sovereignty over the occupied area, Morocco remains a close ally of the U.S. and the EU.

·         U.S. policy now supports Moroccan proposals to retain the occupied territory under Moroccan sovereignty with local autonomy. Moreover, European companies happily help Morocco exploit Western Sahara's resources, and recent treaties with Europe even acknowledge and engage with Moroccan control.

·         In 1975 North Vietnam wiped South Vietnam off the map and Indonesia seizing East Timor. All nations now recognize Hanoi's sovereignty over all Vietnam. And despite a hostile Security Council resolution, the West quietly supported Indonesia's Timor position for decades.

·         Armenia successfully conquered parts of Azerbaijan in the 1990s, a move condemned by the EU but that seems unlikely to be reversed. And Russia snagged parts of Georgia just five years ago.

·         Israel's 1967 Six-Day War successes are the exception that proves the rule: It is unimaginable that 45 years from now, the EU will be demanding that Russian exports be clearly marked to indicate they did not come from "occupied Ukrainian territory."

Iranians: Be More Like Israel!

www.IsraelToday.il.co

Iranians are furious with their government for not behaving more like Israel when it comes to the well-being of its soldiers, reported The Times of London.

...Tehran confirmed that five Iranian soldiers had been abducted on the Pakistani border by a radical Sunni Muslim group, and that one of those soldiers had been executed when Iran refused to meet the kidnappers’ demands.

The public outcry on social networks Twitter and Facebook was immediate and harsh.

“Keep saying ‘Death to Israel,’ but Israel freed 1,027 Palestinians in return for the release of one of their own,” one Iranian wrote on Facebook, referring to the deal Israel made with Hamas to secure the release of abducted Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit.

Another Iranian wrote: “Yes, I admire Israel. The same Israel [our government has] been wanting to wipe off the map. The same Israel who for five years tirelessly did everything to save one of its soldiers.”

It is believed such responses were posted primarily by Iranian expatriates, as access to social networks is limited, at best, inside the Islamic Republic. Posting such harsh criticism of the regime on a public forum is also likely to result in severe punishment.

The Ten-Member Coalition

While Israel’s many enemies have wanted to destroy the nation of Israel and the Jewish People, Asaph specifically identifies ten nations / groups that unite to form a coalition for this very purpose:

“With one mind they plot together; they form an alliance against you—the tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites, of Moab and the Hagrites, Byblos [Gebal], Ammon and Amalek, Philistia, with the people of Tyre.  Even Assyria has joined them to reinforce Lot’s descendants.”  (Psalm 83:5–8)

While these groups are no longer identifiable by their ancient names, Bill Salus, author of Israelistine and Psalm 83: The Missing Prophecy Revealed ascertains the modern-day equivalents / descendants of these coalition members as the following:

·         Tents of Edom:  Palestinians and Southern Jordanians

·         Ishmaelites:  Saudis (Ishmael is the father of the Arabs)

·         Moab:  Palestinians and Central Jordanians

·         Hagrites:  Egyptians (Hagar is an Egyptian matriarch)

·         Gebal (Byblos):  Hezbollah and Northern Lebanese

·         Ammon:  Palestinians and Northern Jordanians

·         Amalek:  Arabs of the Sinai area

·         Philistia:  Hamas of the Gaza Strip

·         Tyre:  Hezbollah and Southern Lebanese

·         Assyria:  Syrians and Northern Iraqis

Salus has worked to identify some of these ancient groups based upon their ancient locations and others by where they migrated.

Author Joel Richardson has also identified each member group, as well, basing his conclusions only on their ancient location in 10th century BC; therefore, his locations and conclusions differ slightly from those of Salus.

Editor's Note:  There are still many who believe that this Ten-Nation Confederacy referred to in Scripture is a European confederacy. I used to believe the same thing. Years ago, there were six nations in the European Common Market, but ten flag poles. Then one day, there were indeed ten nations! It seemed like a fulfillment of prophecy. However, the European Common Market has since that time morphed into the European Union. And now there are 23 nations in the EU! I now believe the Ten-Nation confederacy of Psalm 83 is the one referred to in Scripture.

THE DISASTROUS OUTCOME OF THE PEACE NEGOTIATIONS: As anticipated, the Obama administration’s efforts to impose a peace settlement have proved to be a disastrous failure. Regrettably, the US intervention has only exacerbated the situation. The peace settlements between Israel and Egypt and Jordan were achieved because both parties sought to come to an accommodation. The US did not then seek to impose solutions. It only became involved as a facilitator and honest broker after both parties had taken the initial steps and invited its participation. The flawed initiatives by the Obama administration have resulted in the standing of the US in both Israel and the Arab world plummeting to its lowest level. The pressure was exerted overwhelmingly on Israel while the Palestinians, who were treated with kid gloves, refused to make a single meaningful compromise. The positive memories of Obama’s visit to Israel and the ongoing defense support and co-operation – now at an all-time high – were overshadowed by Israeli anger against the US for bullying its government into releasing brutal mass murderers who were subsequently glorified as heroes by the Palestinian Authority. The PA demanded this as a prerequisite to even agreeing to negotiate. American and European leaders still delude themselves that the Israeli-Palestinian conflict relates to two hostile peoples fighting over real estate. They seem unaware that both Yasser Arafat and Mahmoud Abbas rejected Israeli offers of 95% of territories over the green line, without even making a counter offer. By now, they should recognize the objective of the Palestinian leaders is not the acquisition of land, but end of Jewish sovereignty in the region. This explains their adamant refusal to recognize Israel as a Jewish state. The US administration ignores the reality that the corrupt and duplicitous PA chairman, Abbas, even if he desired to has no mandate to make any concession, and if he were to make any would likely be assassinated. Yet despite all the efforts and concessions Israel has made, the Obama administration will cast the blame on us for the failure of negotiations, which we realized from the outset were doomed as a hopeless charade. (Israel National News) Pray for continuing strength for PM Netanyahu and the Israeli government to stand in alignment with biblical prophecy and national security regarding so called, peace agreements – in spite of all pressures and demands from foreign entities.
